I bought a skateboard when I bought my kids skateboards. We’ve been learning (re-learning in my case) some moves. I think teenage me would be shocked at how uncool adult me looks on a skateboard, and how bad I am at all the things I was once good at.
I have remained off the skateboard in these strange times.

You don’t need a skateboard to take a dive. My wife got tripped up by the dog on a walk yesterday and fell on the street. Just an hour ago, I tried to take a corner a bit too fast on tile while wearing socks and fell. Fortunately, my reflexes kicked in and I landed in a pushup instead of smacking the floor with my face . Don’t get me wrong - it’s not fun going from upright to horizontal in a split second. I’m sure I’m going to feel it in the morning.
